In "Side EFFlecks May Include..." Award-winning performance artist and NEA badboy John Fleck debuts two daring and riotous performance pieces: In “A Fowl Wet Dream,” Fleck takes an Ambien and dreams he’s a duck—an ugly duck saved from an abusive father by his mother (Mother Goose), who gives him a Dream Parchment and tells his ugly fowl self to fly away to an UNKNOWN pond where he will meet his dream man who will pluck him and be the catalyst for his American dream to come true. The evening is rounded out with “Globesity,” in which Fleck envisions the American dream catered by Trader Joe’s and saturates the audience with T.J. products.
