Molly.Berke
Molly is a produced screenwriter, as well as being a published, Off-Off-Broadway playwright. She got her B.A. in Theatre from the University at Texas at Dallas, and was a professional actress in avante garde theatre for six years prior to becoming a playwright. During her years in the theatre, she's done everything from finishing hammering the last nail in a grand stairwell for TAMING OF THE SHREW an hour before curtain; to singing like Aretha as the "Bride of Frankenstein" for a musical; to making her own fitted 1890s style corset from scratch when she played "Mrs. Webb" in OUR TOWN; to working box office; to prancing around painted silver from tiptoe to beehive whilst spouting fake French in a performance art piece; to being prop mistress for HAMLET; to dancing on a table top as "Cherie" in BUS STOP. After a ten year sabbatical from theatre, having gone through a bit of culture shock having moved to L.A. the week of 9/11, and taking a bit of time off to get and stay married, as well as getting her daughter through her coursework at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Molly is grateful to have found a theatre home at the Unknown Theater. Molly is an arts and crafts book editor by day. She and her husband, Dan, live near the beautiful Griffith Park area in Los Angeles. Her grown daughter, Madison Shepard, is a theatre professional also in L.A. doing everything from acting, to contracts work, to theatre tech work here on theatre row, just a few blocks away from the Unknown. Updates 01/08: Madison has gotten into the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, and Molly has signed a trade book contract to write: ON THE TOWN!

Curt.Bonnem
Curt is currently on hiatus in what was the longest running show in Los Angeles, The Beastly Bombing, winner of the LA Weekly Award for Best Musical. The show was also invited to and had a successful Off-Broadway run at the New York Musical Theater Festival. Get info at http://www.thebeastlybombing.com!

Curt originally hails from The Windy City, where he got hooked on acting in the fifth grade as a chorus member in “Cinderella,” and has been going ever since. Some highlights of his early days were writing, directing and starring in a popular community theatre production called “Big Louis’ Speakeasy” at the age of 16. During his high school years he was an All American Gymnast, the 1987 Junior National Juggling Champion of the International Jugglers Association and was the youngest performing artist ever at The Bristol Renaissance Faire in Wisconsin.

Moving to Los Angeles in 1988, Curt continued his theatrical training, gaining a BA in Theatre from Cal State University, Northridge, where he starred in several Main Stage productions such as "Little Shop of Horrors," and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" as the acerbic Psuedolus. Curt was also active in many student productions, both as an actor and director.

A member of the award winning theatre company, The Road, Curt’s credits include the highly acclaimed West Coast Premiere of "Marked Tree," the Off-Road production "The Junto" and notable roles in the award winning productions of "The Pagans" and "Ouroborus."

Other theatre credits include “The Traveling Lady” at The Company of Angels, “Hamlet” at The Nevada Shakespeare Festival, "The Misanthrope," and most notably as the star in a popular local production of the musical “Hair” which was directed by the show’s creator, James Rado. This production eventually took Curt to Moscow for the first ever Russian production.

Curt has been a member of several Los Angeles theatre companies over the years, including his own, Trinity, and has been seen in several national TV commercials and independent films. He also played the killer on a recent episode of the CBS hit drama "Criminal Minds.”

His artistic aspirations extend to film production as well. He has produced, directed, edited, shot and created several short films, documentaries and music videos. Notable projects include "Seat Fillers!", which won the Oklahoma Downstream Film Festival and was named in the top 50 picks of the 2003 TriggerStreet.com online film festival, as well as the King's X video for the song "Smudge."
