About The 5th Wall
At Unknown Theater, we call each of the full-length plays
that we produce "The Main Event". That's because
there are all sorts of other events presented, which are inspired
by the theme of this "Main Event".
We
call the collection of these related events "The 5th
Wall".
Following
each Main Event The 5th Wall takes over the space, and the
stage explodes in a stunning array of smaller events. As a
thrilling Shakespearean play ends, live music erupts, an army
of performers man their stations, and the post-show journey
begins.

The Junior 5th on Selected Sundays
While
The 5th Wall is designed primarily for adults, following selected
1pm Sunday matinees The Junior 5th takes over the space for
two hours until 5pm, with an incredible display of younger
talent for younger audiences:
- Performances
by the Junior company
- Story-related
acting or improv games
- Interactive
musical events
- Question
and answer sessions with the director, actors, and designers
of the show
