While Unknown Theater does not offer traditional paid internships at this time, we do offer opportunities for high-school and college students interested in pursuing a career in the theater to get advance experience for the college application process, or for college credit. Areas of Opportunity for Interns

• Performance
• Set, props, lighting, and costume design and construction
• Office and administrative work including:
  • Marketing
  • Fundraising
  • Operations
• The academic aspects of theater, including working as a research assistant to our literary manager

Academic Credit

It is the responsibility of the intern to coordinate class credit with their educational institution. Unknown Theater will be happy to cooperate with your institution to complete any necessary paperwork.

Compensation

While we are not currently able to offer pay to interns, interns will be considered company members and will be able to audition for shows or to participate as members of the technical and design staffs. They will also receive other benefits such as complimentary tickets to our Main Events.
